Cameroonian artiste, Phido pays tribute to Nigerian legend Okocha in a song. It’s always exciting to see people acknowledge talent and appreciate their greatness especially in mediums like this ( music ).

Augustine Azuka Okocha who was born on 14 August 1973 in Nigeria and commonly known as Jay-Jay Okocha. He is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He played 73 times for the Nigeria national team between 1993 and 2006, scoring 14 times, and was a member of three FIFA World Cup squads. He is regarded as one of the greatest football players from Africa.

In the last half of 2022, Loic Sumfor featured multitalented artiste Phido in a song titled “Make you no bother” . In the Loic Sumfor song under a production company, Phido acknowledged the Greatness of Okocha in his lyrics on the line ” Dey call me arm robber, I play like Okocha, ready for the road …..”.

Okocha was known for his confidence and trickery with the ball, technique, creativity, flair, close control, and dribbling skills, as well as his turn of pace and his use of feints, in particular the stepover and his trademark turns.
