UFC middleweight fighter Paulo Costa Challenges Francis Ngannou to a bare-knuckle boxing match.

News

Brazilian UFC middleweight fighter Paulo Costa has called out Francis Ngannou to a bare-knuckle fighting rule set.

The Brazilian fan favorite recently agreed a new four fight deal with Dana White-led UFC. He is currently ranked number five amongst the UFC middle weight contenders.

In a tweet that suprised many fans, Paulo Costa called out Francis Ngannou for a bare-knuckle fight.

Bare-knuckle boxing is a full-contact combat sport based on punching without any form of padding on the hands. The difference between street fighting and a bare-knuckle boxing match is that the latter has an accepted set of rules, such as not striking a downed opponent.

It’s worth noting that Francis Ngannou is yet to make a decision on his next destination after leaving UFC.

The Cameroonian has confirmed, however, that he is close to agreeing a deal to join either the PFL (Professional Fighters League), or ONE Championship in Singapore.
He also made it clear that he wants to have atleast one boxing match before joining any organisation.
