Samuel Eto’o is undoubtedly one of the greatest African players of all and one of the best strikers to ever play the beautiful game.

His records and numbers speak for themselves.
He is Cameroon’s top scorer with 54 goals for the National team and also the Afcon highest goal scorer wit 17 goals.

His son Etienne Eto’o will be hoping on emulating his fathers career if not better it. However, it is not always guaranteed that great footballers children will end up being great footballers themselves though there have been some few cases in history like legendary Manchester United Danish goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel who’s son Kaspwr Schmeichel also grew up to become a good goalkeeper. Erling Haaland’s father, Alpha-Inge Haaland was also a great footballer and a Manchester City legend.

19 year old Etienne Eto’o has been quite promising so far and he signed his first professional football contract this month with a Spanish 5th division side UD problense.

He represented Cameroon in the Under-20 African Cup of nations last year where he scored 2 goals as they reached quarter finals before loosing to Ghana on penalties.
