Vincent Aboubakar has reportedly rejected an offer from French giants Olympique de Marseille.

Aboubakar who has been having a year to remember has been attracting alot of interest from clubs in Europe. This is not surprising given that the player finished top scorer with eight goals in the 2021 AFCON and also scored two goals in the just ended FIFA World cup which included a goal of the tournament contender against Serbia.

 

The Al-Nassr’s striker contract ends in six months and the player has made known his desire to return to Europe.

 

According Lefootenbref, the player is not impressed by Marseille’s project and is looking for a move to a more competitive club and league. Marseille reportedly made a proposal to Al Nassr but the 30 year old rejected the offer immediately.

It was also reportedly that Spanish club Rayo Vallecano has also made a move for the player though his yet to respond to the offer.
