The second edition of the Cameroon music evolution awards (CMEA) took place on March 18th, 2023 at Krystal Palace Hotel Douala, Cameroon where 23 awards were handed out.

It’s important to note that even though this season is held in 2023, nominations took place in 2022 and it’s tagged CMEA 2022 had lesser categories (23) than the first edition of Cameroon music evolution awards (CMEA) took place in 2021 and 27 awards were handed out.
