On November 29th, Elites of the Nso tribe gathered in Yaoundé for the celebration of ‘Tooy Fon’ and Witty Minstrel received a chieftaincy title from the with their Fon ( king ) who now resides in Yaoundé due to the anglophone crisis.

The event had elders from the land of Nso and other cultural artists like Chilli away. Here is what he wrote after receiving the title “Ngwang Yov”

“I am covered with the blood of Yesu Christu. I am one of the descendants of the powerful Tikar klan. The boi from NSO to be precise. The paramount Fon of Nso blessed me with the title of Ngwang Yov today making me an ambassador for peace.

I do not belong to any group of people but no, I am not a politician I represent the people of No, and I will do my best with the gift God has blessed me with to be an instrument of peace in our land just as I made my people proud of who they are, No shall stand tall again.”
