In an interview on Jambo radio with OAP Steve Fonkam, Cameroon serial hit maker Ko-c was asked why he left rap music which provoked Young holiday to reply Ko-c with this “Your only punchline was when you mentioned my name in a verse, I’m the one they’ll cite for murdering Ko-c“.
Let me take you back to the interview when Ko-c was asked why he left rap music, this was his response 👇
Ko-c: “Talking about Competition I mean, I mean that’s why I decided that let’s get into competition music because Staying where there’s no competition is pointless”
OAP: You really mean there was competition for you in Cameroon?
Ko-c: Common Steve, common I mean like why will you be competing with yourself bro ? Just do it, just do what the people want
According to Ko-c, he conquered rap music in Cameroon and his only competition was himself so he left to singing which he considers as a competitive space for him.
This interview provoked a lot of music lovers, fans & especially rappers. This has been trending on Cameroon media for two days now and Ko-c has moved to the “Popular now” section on Facebook.
Yesterday, Ko-c got his first reply from Cameroonian rapper Lill Humble “My Response to Ko-c” and after a few hours Young holiday Came through with “We Ko -c” pronounced as ( we go see).
